The unmatchable duo of Valentine’s Day and Radisson BLU on 14th Feb was indeed a perfect destination to be at with your loved one, in order to experience supreme luxury in the lap of NYC at Radisson Blu Plaza with some romantic, memorable and warm moments with The Valentine’s Day special Brunch and Dinner.
I always wanted to spend my Valentine away from the daily hustle bustle and with extreme luxury. Extensive research about the place and the NYC’s Sunday Valentine Brunch special menu made the place an ultimate destination to experience delectable food and luxurious dining that too for a steal of a price Rs 5014 per couple + taxes.
We were greeted by the smiling staff and the elaborate buffet spread consisting of huge variety of Salad, sushi, cheese board, mains (Asian/western/India) along with some valentine themed desserts.
The rose on the table perfectly set the mood for the romantic valentine lunch with my gorgeous partner.
Salads (Veg & Non – Veg)
I absolutely loved the presentation and flavour of Zucchini roll with spiced feta cheese and a tinge of mint, but my heart went to the Beetroot “Carpaccio” with goat cheese, roasted garlic & honey basil syrup which tingled my taste buds with flavours coming out of the roasted garlic and honey basil syrup. Being a mushroom fan I absolutely loved the Three Mushrooms, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and aged balsamic. Words literally die to describe the Duo of scooped Melon with chili basil Vinaigrette and frisse , very fresh and flavourful
Going a bit light on the chicken I tried the great Jerk Spiced Chicken Slice with Spiced Marinated Dry Fruits and absolutely loved it. The sea food lovers had ample options of salads to choose from this huge section.
Cold Sea Food Station
Being allergic to sea food could not try anything from this section but again the sheer variety presented in the form of Shrimp Pyramid, Green Mussels, Clams, Scampi would have been absolute delight if I was a sea food lover.
I miss something and I got something too in the form of a Cheese Board. An absolute cheese lover – One with the capability to eat raw cheese too. Great variety of cheese on display and to satisfy my cheese hunger. I have been to a lot of buffets but not encountered the cheese board ever, hence this place earns extra brownie points.
Wow ! . Do not I need to say more, our expressions were enough to spot this sushi full of counter. Wide open eyes loved the cute little sushi on display. The assorted peppers roll and the cucumber and radish pickled roll won the day for me. Delicious and worth a thousand bites for sure.
The other available options were Salmon & Asparagus Roll and Prawn n Carrot Roll
When you see such huge variety of food and that too which is to die for, you go bonkers. This is exactly what happened to us. We were quite literally all over the place to check out the variety and making a game plan as per which we can try all the varieties without wasting food but failed, the only things we were left with was brim full stomach.
The dishes which I absolutely loved and deserves a shout out are – Peri-Peri Chicken Breast with Roasted Pineapple Salsa, Home Made Ricotta and Spinach Gratin, Creamy Corn Agnolotti with Confit Cherry Tomato Sauce. The potato cakes were aptly cooked and were less greasy too. From the Asian section of main I loved Broccoli and Black mushroom with garlic & pepper sauce (mushroom love), Burnt garlic & Kale fried Rice accompanied with delicious chili garlic noodles.
The Indian Mains with caught my eye and became part of my meal were Kairi wali Bhindi (Super Crisp), Aloo Chutneywaley, Paneer Jaipuri, my all time favourite Dal Makhni and Subzion Ki Tahiri.
Now the most loved and my favourite part of the meal. The dessert section was all Valentine themed, with prominent red colours and the cute lil hearts forming the part of almost every dessert on offer.
• Lemon Swiss Roll with Italian Meringue
• Amaretto Tiramisu in Dark Chocolate Cup
• Fresh Strawberry and Clove Semolina Greek
• Vanilla Cardamom Crème Brulee with Roasted Nuts

All the dessert were amazing, I was literally amazed by looking by the variety of desserts on the counter along with some exotic fresh cut fruits.
I truly think the food quality was unmatchable and the variety is something which I have already talked about in details in my review above. The servers and the staff were at their cordial best. In the end it was a decision well made to spend the some lovely time in serene peace and calm with muti –cuisine food and heavenly desserts.
Will surely visit them again
We saw the food winking, smiling and alluring us but then we have to leave just to come back with more experiences from our EnticingFoodCruise
